Although Cornelius Cardew was technically an English composer, I do endorse the use of his music by Object Collection for their upcoming election night concert in New York:
Object Collection celebrates American Democracy with a performance of Cornelius Cardew's graphic-score classic from 1968 Schooltime Compositions. A crew of actors, musicians, playwrights, designers, builders, performance artists, philosophers and assorted riffraff assemble for the performance.
Wikipedia:
In 1958, Cardew witnessed a series of concerts in Cologne by John Cage and David Tudor which had a considerable influence on him, leading him to abandon post-Schönbergian serial composition and develop the indeterminate and experimental scores for which he is best known.
