Doctor Atomic (2005). John Adams /events/

Lisa Hersch lists events headed towards the premire of the new John Adams opera Doctor Atomic:

The calendar starts in July, when the Simnuke Project attempts to simulate a nuclear explosion in the Nevada desert. This will be followed by a gallery show in San Francisco about the simulated explosion. In August, there is a San Francisco Opera Guide celebration on the Peninsula...

The Doctor Atomic web site includes an atomic bomb reading list. Individual tickets to the opera go on sale in August.
