I find the MetaFilter analysis of same interesting, even if it remains perpexing. And I don't begin to understand the USC/Schoenberg archive controversy.
Still, Zukofsky playing Cage solo violin works does result in austere, ugly, and fascinating music:

I don’t pretend to under the dynamics in the PZ-LZ situation. But comments about gossip and about being protective of CZ make me think that a poet with the initials LN somehow figures into all of it.
