Checking recent aworks referrers, I see someone was trying to determine if Nixon in China has been performed in China.
I still assume not but if anyone knows of anything upcoming, I'm there...
Speaking of the opera, Wikipedia:
The libretto, by contrast, was written completely in rhymed, metered couplets, reminiscent of poetic and theatrical styles native to China.

I think that the libretto for Nixon in China is one of the most interesting in opera.
