I'm feeling concerned and hopeful about tomorrow; tonight, I made a solid choice in listening to Anthony de Mare play "The Alcotts" and Dexter Gordon play "Horning In." These are examples of the best in American music.



What's with your titles? This article has nothing to do with Ives. In fact, I've noticed that several of your titles don't correspond to your articles... Typepad problem?

"The Alcotts" is a movement from Ives' Concord Sonata.
