It's still late Monday night here on the West Coast, election eve, and very quiet. I'm feeling concerned and hopeful about tomorrow; tonight, I made a solid choice in listening to Anthony de Mare play "The Alcotts" and Dexter Gordon play "Horning In." These are examples of the best in American music.

"The Alcotts" is a movement from Ives' Concord Sonata.
